We persue a multi-brand strategy
The Zumtobel Group pursues a multi-brand strategy that enables it to reach different business segments and customer target groups in the lighting market with strong, internationally established brands. The lighting business comprises the Thorn and Zumtobel brands, as well as the much smaller OEM brand Reiss. The components business comprises the Tridonic brand. For several years now we have been building up our own business based on innovative LED technology. Within the Zumtobel Group, Ledon Lighting is both our centre of competence for LED technology and our in-house supplier.
All of the Group's brands are united by their unremitting focus on innovation and new technologies, as well as on energy efficiency and sustainability. As a global player, the Zumtobel Group positions itself with its various brands at the heart of a global network of decision-makers and opinion-leaders, such as architects and investors, wholesalers, local authorities, expert specifiers, lighting designers, and engineers responsible for building and infrastructural projects. This gives the Group a competitive edge in international lighting projects.
