Zumtobel's sales organisation in Austria meets the ISO 9001 requirements for quality management systems and is proud to announce that it has successfully passed its ISO 9001 audit in May. Serving as adequate samples for the entire organisation, the Consulting Centres in Linz and Vienna were audited.
In addition to standard requirements such as documentation of and adherence to processes as well as compliance with quality policies and others, legal prerequisites and internal requirements specified by the company itself must be met as well. In contrast to the manufacturing plants, where the audits focus on production processes, it is the service and consulting processes in particular, such as project planning, lighting design, quotations and order processing, that are checked in the sales organisations.
“With this audit we have again been able to demonstrate our consistent quality management approach, ranging from development through to procurement and production,”
says Geri Weiß, Senior Manager Certified Management Systems of the Zumtobel Group.
Within the scope of a matrix procedure, all sites are audited by an independent and accredited certification organisation in a 3-year cycle.
