The global service unit ZGS offers our customers connected lighting solutions and digital services in combination with services such as lighting contracting and turnkey project management. As far as our cost base is concerned, we are constantly working on efficient processes and a competitive production network - in order to be able to invest in future issues.”
Karin Sonnenmoser has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Zumtobel Group since 1 May 2014. She is appointed until 30 April, 2020.
Karin Sonnenmoser, who was born in 1969 in Biberach an der Riss (Germany), studied Business Administration at the University of Augsburg in Germany and during her course also earned an MBA from the University of Dayton in Ohio, USA. She started her career at Volkswagen AG in 1995 where she has held numerous managing positions. From 2002 to 2006, she was the head of the General Secretariat for the Volkswagen Brand Group and was also the General Secretary of the CEO of Volkswagen AG in this position. During the period from 2007 to 2010 she was initially appointed Managing Director and subsequently Chair of the Management Board of AutoVision GmbH. Following till 2014, Sonnenmoser held the position of Managing Director of Finance and Controlling at Volkswagen Sachsen GmbH, Gläserne Manufaktur GmbH and Volkswagen Bildungsinstitut GmbH in Zwickau.
