29.04.2013
The red scarf book house project is a series of activities organised by Thorn production plant at Guangzhou (China) that are aimed at caring for migrant workers’ children. In order to inspire the children with a passion for reading, the company launched its first World Reading Day Awards on 1 April 2013. After a month in which the students could express their thoughts on a book by painting or writing, the Thorn Volunteer Service Unit helped to select the twenty best works out of the hundreds of artworks submitted for the awards. The presentation ceremony was finally held at Yangcheng primary school on 23 April 2013.
