28.03.2012
Dornbirn / Lemgo – As part of its growth strategy, the Zumtobel Group is placing all Zumtobel brand production plants under uniform global management. Effective 01 May 2012, in addition to his responsibilities as Plant Manager in Dornbirn, Thomas Bischof will take charge of all five luminaire plants operated by the Zumtobel brand. In his role as Global Operations Director Zumtobel Lighting, Bischof, who has held management positions with the Zumtobel Group since 1989, will join with a five-strong management team to coordinate the worldwide production operations and supply chain of the Zumtobel brand. "Within the new global production network we will be aiming to foster knowledge transfer between the plants, realise synergies and enable fast decision-making," said Zumtobel Group CEO Harald Sommerer, explaining the aims of the new management structure.

As the new structure is introduced there will also be a change in plant management at Zumtobel Lighting GmbH in Lemgo.
