Mr. Metzler was born in 1959 in Bregenz, Austria. After having achieved his university degree in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics he started his career by joining Siemens AG, Central Research Dept. in Munich in 1984, continued as MD and Head of R&D Siemens Components, Asia Pacific in 1992 and General Manager Micro-Controller Business, Siemens AG, Munich in 1996. Next step in 1997 was the foundation of NewLogic Technologies, followed by the foundations of Photeon Technologies in 2000 and Interclick in 2008.
